Project coordinator Muzaffer Özgüleş conducted a field trip and intense study with Assoc. Prof. Nisa Semiz from Abdullah Gül University in Kayseri between 19 and 23 August 2024 in order to prepare for the new implementation of the Palimpsest Cities course in this city.

We had an online meeting with Jose Manuel Pages Madrigal for the dissemination of the project and implementation of the PC mobile app to Cyprus.

We had a great workshop with Piotr Kalbarczyk on 25 July 2024 in Alanya. We were first in the class for the theoretical part then at the Red Tower to sketch the cultural heritage on site. Many thanks to Piotr for this lovely day and fascinating workshop.

Alanya University architecture department students visited Alanya Museum within the scope of Palimpsest Cities course and received cultural heritage training.

We started working on the Palimpsest Cities mobile app!

For "Palimpsest Cities: Istanbul" course, Alanya University students were on a gamified field trip to Istanbul on 14-16 March 2024. The students explored this multi-layered imperial city with its stories during their three-day field trips covering the Historical Peninsula and Galata.​

Palimpsest Cities Project and First Results were shared by Muzaffer Özgüleş, the coordinator of the project, at Alanya University on 11 January 2024. At the event, Alanya Castle model prepared by the students who took the Palimpsest Cities: Alanya course was also exhibited.

We are celebrating #ErasmusDays with the first gamified field trip in Alanya Castle with our students taking the "Palimpsest Cities: Alanya" course at Alanya University!

Alanya University and Istanbul Technical University teams met in Alanya on 5-6 August 2023.
